Escape from Tarkov
Escape from Tarkov Raid Economy Habits
Escape from Tarkov punishes kits that do not match the map’s risk. A “meta” gun with empty meds and no extract plan is still a poor investment. Economy habits start before you click Ready.
Kit risk tiers
Run budget kits when learning a map pocket. Save expensive ammo and armor for quests or marked rooms you already know how to leave. Tarkov wealth grows from surviving average raids, not from one lucky GPU.
Insurance is not a free reset. Play as if the kit is gone — that mindset keeps extracts honest.
Stash discipline
Sell clutter weekly. Hoarding “maybe later” mods hides the rubles you need for the next quest item. If it has not been equipped in two weeks, price it.
Track quest keys separately from loot keys. Mixing them is how you sell the wrong item at 3 a.m.
Raid goals in one sentence
Before spawn, say the goal aloud: “Quest turn-in only,” “Cash run,” or “PvP okay.” Changing goals mid-raid is how scavs and players both catch you overextended.
Leave when the goal is done. Extra loot after a completed quest is optional — extracts are not.
