Before you install
Buy a plan first. You get a licence by email, usually within a minute of payment clearing. Keep that email — it holds both your key and the order ID support will ask for.
Close anything that draws its own overlay before you start. Discord, GeForce Experience, Steam, and recording software all hook the game the same way our overlay does, and two overlays competing for the same hook is the most common cause of a first install failing.

Install steps
Run the loader as administrator, paste your licence, then launch Lost Ark. Administrator rights are required — without them the loader cannot attach, and it will fail with a generic error rather than telling you why.
Start the loader before the game, not after. It needs to be running when the game process starts. If you launch Lost Ark first, close it and start over rather than trying to attach mid-session.
- Download the loader from your delivery email
- Right-click and choose Run as administrator
- Paste your licence key exactly, with no trailing space
- Launch Lost Ark and wait for the overlay to appear
First-run settings
Defaults are intentionally conservative, and they are a reasonable place to start. Before your first raid, set the overlay filters to match the content you are running and check that your hotkeys do not collide with your class abilities.
Both of those are worth a couple of minutes. Filter guidance is on the ESP overlay page, and starting values for aim assistance are on the aimbot settings page.

Moving to a new PC or updating after a rebuild
There is no hardware lock, so moving to a new machine only means downloading the loader again and pasting the same licence key. Your settings do not travel automatically — they live in the loader folder, so copy that across if you want your profiles and filters intact.
After a rebuild you need the new loader, not the old one. Reusing a stale loader is the most frequent cause of a build appearing broken when the status page says it is online. Download it fresh from your delivery email each time a rebuild is announced.
The licence key does not change during a rebuild. If you are being asked to re-enter one you have already used, that is the loader failing to reach the licence server rather than an expired key — check your firewall before contacting support.

If something fails
Check Status after a patch before anything else. If a rebuild is in progress, no amount of reinstalling will help, and the overlay simply will not load until the build is back online.
If Status is green and it still fails, the usual causes are missing administrator rights, a conflicting overlay you forgot to close, or antivirus quarantining the loader. Work through those three before writing in. If it still does not work, email support@lostarkcheats.net with your order ID, your Windows version, and what you already tried.
