Hunt: Showdown

Hunt: Showdown Bounty and Sound Cues

Hunt: Showdown is an audio horror dressed as a shooter. Teams that sprint every clue and ignore dark sight windows walk into third parties already nested on the lair.

Clue pace

Move at a pace that lets you hear chains and gunfire. Rushing four clues silently is rare; rushing four clues loudly is common. Hunt punishes noise more than slow walks.

Watch dark sight for rival hunters before you commit to boss damage. Second teams love finishing your fight.

Bounty extract discipline

After the boss, heal and reload before you touch the token if the compound is contested. Extract camping exists because players panic-run with empty tubes.

Split angles when carrying. One hunter should always watch the likely swing path.

Loadout notes

Bring tools for the compound you expect — choke bombs, concertina, or silent options depending on your duo style. Random gadgets waste traits.

After a wipe, ask whether audio or impatience killed you. Hunt improvement is mostly listening practice.
