Palworld

Palworld Base Automation and Pal Roles

Palworld bases stall when every Pal is assigned randomly. Clear work roles — kindling, watering, transporting — turn a messy camp into a farm that runs while you explore.

Assign work before cosmetics

Fix food production and beds before decorating. Hungry Pals stop crafting and your ore pile becomes a museum exhibit.

Separate combat party Pals from base workers when you can. Taking your only transporter on a boss run pauses the whole assembly line.

Automation loops

Place chests where transporters actually path. Pretty layouts that break AI paths waste hours. Watch one full craft cycle before you expand.

Scale one production line at a time — wood, then ore, then advanced mats. Parallel chaos is how bases look busy and produce nothing.

Exploration balance

Leave the base with a goal: new Pal egg, boss tower, or chest route. Open-world wandering is fine, but name the goal so you return before overnight crafting idles out.

When a new update adds systems, rebuild the smallest broken chain first. Full base wipes are rarely required.
